    getting tired

    Well, almost a month and I am getting tired. I have gotten back on the weight watchers wagon. Hopefully I won't fall off again, it keeps getting harder to get back on. I lost 2.2 last week. I was pretty proud of that. I have lost 9 pounds so far, my goal for this month was 10 pounds. So I guess I find out on Thursday when I weigh in to see if I met my goal. Also if anyone was wondering why our background is Italy, not it is not our love of Italian food and men haha. Jodie and I are going to Italy March 29th. So we would like to slim down a little and maybe catch the eye of one of the beautiful Italian men, as long as they aren't too hairy haha. Thanks to those of you who wrote about me not bloggin, it completely slipped my mind. Luckily Jodie got on here and did one on Sunday. I hope that means the beginning of the week. I hope everyone is doing well, keep up the good work and keep motivated. I am going to finish watching the biggest loser.

    Second Blog by Jodie

    This is Jodie.  First let me say that Niki is really kicking some butt, she blogs, she is working out, and doing great.  Keep it up.  I'm going to try and blog more often so she doesn't have to do it all alone.  I've been really good since we started the Million Pound Match Up.  I haven't been to eat fast food in 2 whole weeks.  For a girl that usually eats fast food at least 4 times a week, I'm doing really good.  I'm proud of myself, I'm doing alot better about watching what I eat.  Now I just need to move more.  That's my next goal!  To start getting up early at least 3 times a week to work out before I have to get ready to go to work.  I wish you all good luck and much sweat! :)

    Started back to Weight Watchers

    I finally went back in to Weight Watchers. I hadn't weighed in since October 18th, so there was no telling what had happened. However where I had been working out everyday and eating right, I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad. I stepped on the scale, and I only gained .4. I was very excited about that. And that confirmed that I had lost 7 pounds since Jan. 1st. I am 23 pounds from my short term goal of losing 30 pounds before I go to Italy. Apparently WW has a new plan called kickstart, do any of you know about this? I couldn't stay for the meeting that night, but I haven't heard many good things about it. I hope everyone is doing well on their weight loss journey. My blogs will pick up soon.

    breaking a sweat

    Tonight I went back to the gym. I did a little warm up on the ellipitcal. Got a good sweat going, then moved to the weights. I did some lat pulldowns, a ton of abs workouts and arm workouts. Closed out the workout with 4 miles on the bike. I am so tired, but it feels good to do something good for myself. At one point I wanted to stop because I was sweating so much and my legs hurt. But I kept saying to myself, "I want to be thinner!!!" Somehow I finished the workout, and I am going back again tomorrow. I just got the Biggest Loser Cardio dvd today, I will let you all know how it is. I will go ahead and recommend the Power Sculpt, it is a great workout. Are any of you watching the biggest loser:couples?? It's on right now, I love to see the at home transformation pictures. I hope yuou all are doing well and I will read some of your blogs soon. Keep working out and eating right!

    My first Blog

    This is my first blog.  I'll make it short and... dare I say... sweet.   Damn it, now I'm craving sweets.  :) I'm fluffy and I need to get up off my big butt and lose some weight.  I started eating better and working out this past Sunday.  I hope to lose 50 lbs. this year and would love to lose 100 lbs. when all is said and done.  Niki has done a great job on the page.  Keep up the good work and congrats on the 4 lb gone.  Once my internet stops freaking out I'll try and be more active on the blogs.

    Day two

           This is Niki here. Yesterday I started my workout routine. I did the Biggest Loser Power Sculp. I love this dvd. It wasn't too long and I broke a sweat. But anytime someone my size is rolling on the ground, I can guarantee there will be sweat. Jillian kicked my butt on the dvd, I can't imagine what she would do in person. After the video I took a walk before it got too cold. Halfway through the 2 miles, it started snowing so hard I could barely make my way home. But I have wanted snow for so long it was fun to walk in.
          This morning I got up at 6:30 and did the Power Sculpt again. I called Jodie to make sure she was working out this morning too. Then took my shower and went to work. I was hoping to make it to the gym tonight, but I went bowling with my coworkers instead. I beat my all time high tonight, I got a 157 haha. Terrible I know, but it was my best score ever. Now if only I could weigh 157. A girl can dream.
         When I got home form bowling, Jodie and I discussed what we ate today and what exercise we did. Hopefully we can keep this up and see some positive changes. We are also going to Italy on March 29th, and it would be so nice to be a little bit thinner before then. I will post some before pictures of us soon.
